With 'Mijn tas' the creative blogsters elisanna and Fynn introduced Flemish seamstresses to the craft of bagmaking. In the successor they go a step further. They asked ten Belgian designers to design one of their bags, and started making their own fabric version. The result is a book full of creative ideas, which encourages you to set the bar a little higher but which, just like the previous book, explains step by step how to achieve a perfect result.
But 'Mijn Designertas' is also an ode to the designers themselves, passionate people who love to do crafts and who make Belgian handbags hipper and more popular than ever before.
Elisanna and Fynn, the pseudonyms of Sofie Duron and Nathalie Charlier, both have a successful blog about hip, creative sewing projects. In 2014 they released their first book, Mijn tas, together at Houtekiet.
